To my loved ones:

Well, for crying out loud, the day I have been studying for my whole life has finally arrived. Graduation! I am so tired of cramming for my finals, but now God has granted me the wish of my heart.

The last two years were so long and confusing. My memory was robbed from me and then I lost my ability to be of service to others. Eventually I learned to let others serve me. God may even have taught me a little patience as I rocked in my chair each day. But, I never lost my love for visitin and joking around with family and friends (and playing with Lexi). I want all of you to know how much I appreciated your visits. If I didn't know your name, I did know that you were an "angel." Especially my A-1 wife, Cora (Ida Red), and my daughters, Claetra and Nezla. It is hard for me to believe how much loving care they continually showed me even though I probably seemed like a stranger at times. Thank you, thank you.

Now to my family that I leave behind, and there are many, I say, "I am glad we shared this journey together. Please don't cry over my crowning achievement, keep smiling and celebrate this joyous occasion with me." If a funeral has been planned, it is over my dead body!"

Sorry Dad, but we are in charge now.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, where family and friends may call at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 1414 E. 4500 So., Holladay, Utah 84117

Robert married Neta Johnson, daughter of Price William Johnson and Helen Lucy Hull, 26 Jun 1978. (Neta Johnson was born 4 Dec 1931 in Lee's Ferry, Coconino, Arizona.)
